Sydney CBD | Steps from Wynyard Station

From the treatment table to the gym

Our Sydney CBD clinic has private treatment rooms and a fully equipped gym, so we can combine hands-on treatment with movement and rehabilitation.

The goal is to help you move confidently on your own, not keep you coming back to the treatment table.

What we can help with

Whether you're managing persistent pain, recovering from an injury or looking to improve how you move, we offer individualised care that considers the bigger picture.

Not sure where you fit?

You don't need to have all the answers before you come in. We can help you explore what's going on and what kind of care may be right for you.

Our Approach

Where you feel pain isn't always where the problem begins. We take a whole-body approach, looking at how breathing, movement, physical capacity and the nervous system interact. Then we use what we find to guide treatment and rehabilitation that's tailored to you.

Breathe

Breathing is about more than getting air into your lungs. We look at how your diaphragm, rib cage and pelvis work together, and how breathing mechanics interact with posture, muscle activity and movement.

Safety

Pain and chronic symptoms often reflect a nervous system that feels under threat. We prioritise creating a sense of safety. This allows the body to relax, adapt, and respond to treatment more effectively.

Movement

We look at how the whole body moves. We identify compensations and restrictions, then retrain for more efficient movement patterns through hands-on treatment and tailored exercises.

Neurology

Many symptoms are driven by how the brain and nervous system interpret movement and threat. We integrate neurological techniques to improve communication between the brain and body.

Meet Justin, the mind behind Nerve Ninja

Justin Trott is a physiotherapist with over a decade of clinical experience and a lifelong fascination with how the human body works.

He began his clinical career in Traditional Chinese Medicine as an acupuncturist before completing his Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. Since then, he's trained in more than a dozen therapeutic approaches, spanning breathing and postural mechanics, neuroscience-informed movement rehabilitation and specialised manual therapies. He's now pursuing further university studies in neuroscience.

Justin draws on this broad toolkit to investigate each person's symptoms and select approaches that make sense for their individual needs.

Having undergone spinal surgery himself, Justin understands firsthand the physical and psychological challenges of injury and recovery. That experience has deepened his commitment to thoughtful treatment, patient education and helping people take an active role in their recovery.
